FIINN / Tired Cossack / Witchy Woods

First show of the second annual Winnipeg Indie Music Foundation Concert Series!

The WIMF Concert Series is back in a big way with a co-headline show featuring FIINN and Tired Cossack with an opening set by Witchy Woods! Join us back at the Granite Curling Club for a night of local music that you won't want to miss!

Tickets on sale January 12 at 10 am.

Tired Cossack - Post-punk, shoegaze-inspired indie rock, and the odd alt-country twang combine in Tired Cossack. He demonstrates an ability to break musical conventions. His songs flow like a meandering path devoid of care. Themes of joy and melancholy intermingle in his collection of sounds with intense, cold, almost industrial rhythms meeting clever songwriting with nods to Ukrainian folklore. His versatility as an artist invites the listener to experience a kaleidoscope of genres and sensibilities when diving into his discography.

FIINN - Three brothers, Dan, John and Matt Baron create the genetic make up of FIINN. With ear haunting melodies and clever rhythms, they create unique soundscapes, leaving audiences with an eerie sense of human synchronicity.

Witchy Woods - Frontperson, writer, and lyricist Devo offers a bright voice, even when performing songs that toy with a little existential dread and coming-of-age fears. Witchy Woods channels these feelings into their debut single, you've got time. Influenced by artists such as Lorde, Frances Forever, and Her's, Witchy Woods will draw you in with their dreamy, indie-pop sound.
